So, In Dark Calling Kernel gets taken in a journey through the entire universe all the way to the crux by one of the old creatures. He sees a lot of different planets that have or had life and spaceships. A lot of questions concidered as 'mysteries of life' get answered to him like what is the big bang? and is there life in other planets? So I was wondering what reactions would you have if you were Kernel Fleck and saw all this. And also, he gets offered to stay in the ark and live...

Im going to make this short. Art gave Kernel a piece of a lodestone to draw magic from but how comes later on in the book the lodestone disspears and hes relying on background magic again?

im new here but has anyone noticed this mistake?

the old creatures wanted kernel to become a tunnel in the ark right? so why dont the demons come through that tunnel? oh and doesn't it take a mage and a demon master to open a tunnel? how could the old creatures get a demon master to help them?

Hey guys,

this is my first post on this forum but heres my theory.

ok so we have grubs and kernel. kernel is blind and grubs is still transformed. kernel is angry. they argue but kernel realizes that its not worth the fighting. (witch probibly wont happen but hey you never know). so they figure out a way back into the demon universe looking for bec. they are lead to lord losses relm. the shadow is not there. they enter the castle to find bec dead and lord loss weeping on...

In Dark Calling, I have realized that Shan has missed a couple of lines and doesnt even mention them. For instance, he says that Kernal has to fight a demon or somethng else in the very beginning, and Beranabus and Grubbs have to help Bec. In the other stories Bec isnt even down and right when Grubbs enters the hospitsl he asks Bec where Derivish isnt which inst mentioned in he book. Anyone else realized this? Or does anyone have an explination?

Last night after i finshed the last page of Dark Calling i had a dream that I fell into the demon world with grubbs and the others... The dream was vivid and scared the **** out of me. I know the book is fiction and that i shouldnt have taken that last fight so hard but i just want to know who would want to fight the demonata and if you did do you really think you could surive...

Well to answer my question hell no!!! i would not want to fight them or even know about them out...

First just to say that it is awesome, my favourite cover, totally kicks the UK's cover.
If you check out the drafts, the second one, it shows Grubb's head as just the skull, could this be a hint at Grubb's death? Hmmmmmmmmmm...

Well, before they talked to Bran they get on going about how they needed a man inside I have 2 theorys why Bran pulled Bec to talk to, it was either because Bec could find the shadow's weakness , or Bran wanted to keep her safe so bec will know how to defeate the shadow, and it has something to do with a massive explosion so big enough to destroy a planet.... I wonder who created it?

Did any one else get print error?

Seems it was on date of new book it said following for me:

"We apologise for the error on page 216 of this book. The correct text is the following"

and also there was mistake in the date book was coming out it says October 2010

Well Juni Swan is kinda nadias thing Nadia states in book 2 her favourite month is June and her dad said to her she is an ugly duckling. but will turn into a swan.
June(Juni) Swan? read this on wikipedia and she truns into a swan in the chess bord in book 2 to help kernel

The Cover for Hell's Heroes

It looks like on the cover of Hell's Heroes that the 3 "people" on the cover may be Grubbs, Kernel, and Bec.

I'm thinking this because:

The tallest one in the middle looks sort-of like a werewolf Grubbs.

The one at the back without the eyes could be Kernel, because he lost his eyes at the end.

And the one at front doesn't really look like Bec, but it would make sense if it was if Grubbs and Kernel were also on cover.

I was reading the description of Book 10 on Waterstones.com, and in the description it said that Bec and Lord Loss formed an alliance. Here's the description:

I think so. You know that magic can't work properly in a body that refuses to it, right? I think that it's the other way around, too.A body can't functionate properly when the magic refuses to the body. So what if *drums please* Death would absorb the full Kah-Gash, but the Kah-Gash protested against that? It would not work properly and wreck his new master!
