The first thing that popped into my mind this morning was when did anyone begin reading Cirque Du Freak. I first began reading it two years ago when I saw it in the public library.

Why is this manga with the beginning where the end should be and the cover where the blurb should be in a normal book?

Anyone else notice?

I was skimming over the books, and I noticed soem things slipped into the images, and was wondering what other subtle little things people have noticed.

For me, in book one I noticed that the bill they try and pay Darren with has "specimine" written across it, and when the boys are talking about the match, the older kids flip Darren the middle finger..

I got book two today and just finished.
Mr.tiny looked like i imagined him but cormac limbs just looked funny and ennoying so did R.V. wow nothing like i imagined.

I was just wondering if anyone knew why it was taken so long for the manga to come out in english. I was reading http://manga.about.com/od/yenpress/gr/CirqueduFreak1.htm and it says that the manga was released in japan in 2006

Anyone know the reason?

Personally I think the art sucks and I hate it so much that it became a comic that I'm going to stop completely from buying watching reading ANYTHING that has to do with this writer. I just came here to say this because I really REALLY hate the art and I feel that it really didnt need to become a comic when it was already an alright book but now it just made it for me feel stupid for reading his work. Best/worst character design

I was very happy to see the mangaka has drawn most characters very close to how I imagined them, and now curiosity kicked in:
So, what do you think about the character designs in the manga?
Anyone who does absolutely not look as you imagined them? Or someone who you absolutely love the looks of?

The thought jsut floated though my mind, and it sounded kind of rational at the second. But seeing as how CDF is being adapted into a Manga, waht if Demonata was?

My thinking behind this was mostly to see how an artist would interpret the characters. Inparticularly the Demons. They vary so much in physical description that alot could be interpreted in many ways.

I doubt it would happen, but what do you think?
