I have the entire confirmed cast list up to date on my fansite and there's a fast paced shoutbox there where currently there is heated discussion about the upcoming movie. I'm very nervous about the film but I guess it's best not to expect too much and just go and see it when it comes out with a clear mind, like you have no idea what's coming, you know? If you pretend it's a random movie you know nothing about I guess you can't go wrong, I think it would be unwise to expect it to be exactly like the books so I'm just going to be happy and feel lucky they're even making a movie full stop (even if I will be a little disappointed if it doesn't do well). But think of this - if it becomes a really huge hit we can all say "ha! I read those books and was a fan way before the film even came out!" and we'll know we're the true old timer shansters and be proud in that knowledge, lol! I'll stop rambling now
