My thinking behind this was mostly to see how an artist would interpret the characters. Inparticularly the Demons. They vary so much in physical description that alot could be interpreted in many ways.
I doubt it would happen, but what do you think?

The thought jsut floated though my mind, and it sounded kind of rational at the second. But seeing as how CDF is being adapted into a Manga, waht if Demonata
was?

It would certainly be interesting to see how that would work but if they brought in the right artist it could work!

Personally, I'd like to see a graphic novels adaption. In the spirit of wishful thinking, I think that it would look amazingly in Christopher Shy's
artwork style, the way he did Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness (The cover here; some of his
artwork from the Good Apollo album by Coheed and Cambria,
the protagonist of the GN, some more character artwork at the bottom of
this page). I just think it would look EPIC (unfourtanetely, I can't seem to find some of the better
artwork anywhere online, since the independant company publishing the GN dissappeared, along with their website full of character artwork.)
EDIT: Also, the last link there also has the six Good Apollo animated vignettes, I think (I've seen them, but the computer I'm on has slow internet, and I can't get the videos to load to see if I'm right), which use Shy's artwork, and looks EPIC!

I've doen some artwork from Demonata, but it takes me hours to do one peaice becasue I put alot of time and effort into my work so that it's
professional quality, and sadly for Demonata all I've done is human characters.. Someday I do plan on trying out a few Demons...

^ I've drawn artworks of the demonata saga too. Demons and humans, sadly, most of the characters I drew are crossed-eyed lol.
If the demonata saga was adapted into a graphic novel then...why not give it a chance? I personally think it would be cool seeing Demon Apocalypse as a graphic novel adaptation. I'm sure it would be epic and I would like to see the part where Kernels eyes get taken out (don't get me wrong, i'm actually a fan of Kernel). |

The later books in the sereis really fit with the Manga style in terms of the action. Mangas gennerally focous on the action leaving out the lesser monents.
And the later Demonata is mostly all action with little "downtime" for the characters.

A graphic novel might be better but i'd still love a demonata manga
personally i believe that the demonata series would make for an absolutely brilliant and epic anime anybody else with me?? and for people who have drawn some characters any chance we could get to see them i'd love to see some fan artwork of them?? |

I don't know about an anime, since they usually butcher down plot until the story is unrecognisable, but a Demonata manga sounds good to me.

Yeah, and anime would butcher it, but a manga could work nicely...

the manga of cirque du freak was great, and I was expecting an anime version since the manga is done, but I guess no. Mr. shan, If someday you are interested
in an anime version, go with Studio Pierrot.
A manga version of Demonata would be awesome! I really enjoyed the art of Arai Takahiro in CDF. he should continue the mangas versions of Mr. shan works. |
